Massively Huge Bloke (alias: Rupert Hanson)

Powers/Skills: He possesses super-human strength and endurance. Practically impervious to gunfire. His skin is so strong it will break most knife blades. He can lift several tons.

Other Info: He continues to grow stronger and larger each day. While his strength and durability increases he becomes less and less intelligent. He began as a fairly intelligent man, but is now just a little smarter than an electric toaster.

Rupert Hanson was a builder from Newcastle UK, before a tragic accident changed his life forever. A passing chemical truck plowed into Hanson’s building site and exploded in a ball of flames, engulfing Hanson  and three co-workers. While his colleagues were killed instantly, Rupert Hanson survived. He suffered severe burns over his entire body and had to be revived by medics on several occasions, on the way to hospital. While recovering Mr Brilliant payed him a visit.

Mr Brilliant injected an experimental drug knows as Smackup187 into the injured builder. Hanson’s wounds instantly began to heal as his body regenerated itself. Rather than stopping once the burns had healed, the drug kept on working. Rupert Hanson’s body swelled and grew until he stood over 7 foot tall. His biceps bulged and his calves throbbed. In just a few short moments Hanson had turned into Massively Huge Bloke. A man with the strength of a rhino, and the intelligence of a duck.

Massively Huge Bloke’s body continues to grow to this day, as does his strength and endurance. His huge lungs allow him to hold his breath underwater for over 20 minutes. Despite having vastly powerful legs, his huge bulk means he can not run at any great speed. Not that he ever really needs to run, Massively Huge Bloke always prefers to stand his ground an fight. He quickly looses his temper and can become volatile without any warning.

Unfortunately, Massively Huge Bloke’s intelligence continues to deteriorate. Bats-Man has created dozens of experimental treatments designed to stem Massively Huge Bloke’s symptoms, but with little success (partly because Bats-Man is a former school sports coach, and not a scientist). He can no longer look after himself, so lives permanently at LORBS Towers where the other permanent residents Bats-Man and CreamPuff help care for him. LORBS Towers build in computer system ‘S.H.I.T’ has taken MHB under it’s wing and has become something of a father figure to the muscled hero.

Since his relocation to LORBS Towers his minds degeneration has slowed a little, due to an intensive course of drug therapy, and Bats-Mans efforts to educate him. He is a valuable member of the team, despite his child-like qualities and obvious mental problems. His immense strength and devotion to his friends has saved the LORBS members on more than one occasion.
